About the Author
Spectacular Smith is a Forbes Magazine-featured entrepreneur who coaches artists and startups on branding and social media. He also performs in the R&B group Pretty Ricky with his brothers—Pleasure P, Baby Blue and Slick ‘Em. In 2004, their platinum debut album, Bluestars, brought them to national attention with the hit single “Grind On Me.” They followed up with a string of gold and platinum records including “Your Body” and “On the Hotline.” Spec lives in LA with his significant other, Pretty Jamee, and their son, Spec Junior.

Spec you took your time with this book. I'm glad I purchased your book. It's a eye opener on the simple basics of a healthy relationship. I love that you threw lyrics in it and pretty jamee had a chapter as well. But I've learned alot from a man's point of view. I love that you speak so highly about pretty jamee. In some parts I swear you was talking to me. Because I use to be like jamee blowing my dude phone up, being clingy. I have to work on the communication part. And being more open. Awesome book, We just finished chapter 5 and are still in the middle of the book. My wife and I sit, eat lunch, and she reads aloud. So we try to do a chapter a day or every couple of days. It gives us something to look forward to and something relaxing to do. The book is really good because it gives specific details on things that you can improve on within a relationship. From honesty, communication, and respect. The one thing that is sometimes difficult to get through is the slang, but it also makes you feel like you're sitting down talking with the author. Overall, a great book and EVERY couple could benefit from reading this book.
I don't normally like to read books on relationships, I never feel like I can relate to them and I feel like the author is talking down to the reader. Spectacular's take on relationships is not only applicable to anyone, it also offers perfect solutions to issues that every in a relationship has. Definitely an amazing read
Great book.. thnx Spec, you really made me understand and give up on my issues and this book has helped both me and my partner to understand one and other in a beter way and doing what grown ups do instead of constant battle of words back and forth with no escape or solution to the problem. If only this book came in paperback i would have ordered some for some old pals as a gift so they can improve their relationship also.
I usually don't read books like this because the tone in a lot of these types of books are pretty boring. Spectacular, however, found a way to write a book that was informative and funny at the same time. While you're reading it, you'll feel that Spectacular is a good friend of yours who is simply trying to give you great advice.
I like the format of the book. I like that Spec worked on this book with his significant other. I like how blunt Spec is about his relationship and what worked for them. How blunt he is on what will not work in any relationship. A lot of this stuff is common sense but common sense is not too common in relationships at times. Especially in the heat of the moment. It is important to always think before you react. This book is raw and tells it like it is without being all cutesy. I would recommend this book just for additional insight on what many should already know.
This was the best book I've read! Not only the book cover it self was nice. The entire book was amazing it gave you laughter, wisdom on how to keep your relationship strong and how to make it last for Ever. Knowing your partner is very important. Spectacular gave wisdom on his past and present experiences that also gave me great Advice on how to love my future King. I truly recommend for those who haven't purchased spectacular new book...
