What did I just read?! I'm not entirely sure what I expected but this destroyed any expectations I could have had. I'm legitimately having a terrible time trying to put into words just how awesome this story was without giving away any of the crazy amazing surprises it has in store for you! This story starts off with a bang (hehehe) and then it just pulls you along from one mind blow to the next! I could not put this down once I started! I hated watching my percentage left to read get lower because I did not want this story to end. I cannot wait for the next book, I already pre-ordered it! It's hard to really say anything about the story without giving away the awesome surprises but read it, it is so worth it, and you will love it! Evie is awesome, Cass is hilarious, and Brock is beyond sexy, and there is still a whole host of amazing supporting characters that all feel fully realized and have real depth to them. Love, love, love!!

This is a pretty fun story, lots of funny moment and plenty of "adult" oriented entertainment (sex, cussing, drinking, etc). The writing isn't half bad, kept me interested and I wanted to know what would happen next. So, why only 2.5 stars ( only allows full stars)? Because this is sold as a book with a full story, and it is NOT.

There are no resolutions to any of the questions asked, there is no defeat of the big bad, no resolution on the HEA, nothing. The story even ends on a cliff hanger. Due to this I do Not recommend reading this book until the second book is available.

Final Thoughts The eventual story might be great, but we wont know until it's complete. Not recommended until then.
From the minute I opened this book, I couldn’t put it down. It was the best book I have read this year that made me laugh, and fall in love with a cast of amazing characters. From the main character who’s a wicked bounty hunter, to a sinfully hot werewolf that I would love to have jumping into my bed. Let’s just say, these authors did it well. If anything they took my reading this year out with a bang!

I’m so excited to pick up the second book in this series, and I can’t wait to immerse myself in this world some more. It’s a world that every PNR reader should want to be immersed in, and what we go searching for when we read. I’m always looking for my next great read, and I found it in this book. You won’t be disappointed if you pick this book up, you’re family just won’t be able to find you because you’ll disappear somewhere to read in peace.
Van Wilder meets Supernatural! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I loved it all. There’s humor (Cass and Molly take the cake), all kinds of supernaturals, a kick butt storyline, and an exceedingly hot yet gentle Alpha. I raced through reading it and really enjoyed how it managed to both make me laugh and keep me caught up in the tension. The writing was well done and held a casual tone that left me feeling like I was there and a part of their group. I loved the ending and can’t wait to find out what happens in the next book!
This book is Amazing! This is unlike anything Leia has written before! You DO NOT want to miss out on this book! You will absolutely love this ADULT book from Leia and Lucia!! You will love all the twist and turns this book takes you on! So with that being said, let’s talk the characters. Cass=the best imp anyone could ask for. I seriously want a best friend imp!! And specifically Cass. I want Cass. Now Evie is not your typical FMC. she also doesn’t take any crap from anyone, she is hardheaded, but instead of cowering to the twist her life takes she takes it in stride. She owns it. She starts figuring out what she must do. She cares deeply, she fights for what she believes in. You will like her a lot. Now as for Brock, He. Is. Mine. My werewolf. I sure wish I was Evie. I can’t blame her for taking him to bed. 🤷‍♀️😍 this sexy shifter is to die for! His broody, sexy, caring, overbearing self is the best thing ever!! Okay so enough rambling from me.. if I still haven’t convinced you to go read this book, then don’t take my word for it. GO buy/rent this book and see for yourself!!
I've come to trust that Leia's books are fun, well written, and cleanish reads. I bought this one without even reading the summary. The first chapter had so many F bombs it was distracting. Not to mention it jumped, no leaped right into a sex scene. Gah! I know that was part of the plot but...still.... that's hard core romance/erotica to put a sex scene in the first chapter of a book. It hurt the rest of the story for me . I love the side characters in this story but aside from that it felt predictable and a bit dull. Sorry Leia. I love your books but I think this could have used some major improvements
So, I was not sure I was going to enjoy it as I had just read a book by Leia Stone I did not like. But I pre-ordered and the blurb looked fun and promising so I thought 'why not'? This morning it appeared on my and I read it in a couple of hours.

Evie is a fun heroine. I immediately liked her and her BFF Cass (the imp). After her grandmother dies she has a drunk one-night-stand and is infuriated to find she has slept with Brock, the alpha of the (were)wolf pack that wants to demolish her grandmother's house. She herself is a dud witch (no powers...) but soon she discovers she is anything but a dud!

The book is easy to read with a variety of characters. I also liked the romance brewing between Evie and Brock and how they interacted with each other (sexy times!). It ends on a small cliffhanger to tie us over to book 2 as the story continues with regard to Evie's destiny and her past.
